Great Canton Fair in 2019

The Canton Fair, also known as the China Import and Export Fair, is a biannual trade fair held in Guangzhou, China. The fair is organized by the China Foreign Trade Centre and showcases a wide range of products from various industries including electronics, machinery, textiles, and household items.

The 125th Canton Fair was held in April and May 2019, with three phases spanning over a period of 20 days. The fair attracted over 195,000 buyers from 213 countries and regions, with a total trade volume of $29.73 billion.

Highlights of the 2019 Canton Fair included the increasing number of high-tech and innovative products, as well as the growing presence of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies. The fair also featured a special exhibition area for Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) products, highlighting the opportunities for international cooperation and trade under the initiative.

The 126th Canton Fair is scheduled to be held in October and November 2019, with registration for buyers already open.
